Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Royal Tiger (JD Wetherspoon)
Standard-issue 'spoons, housed in a former bakery (although you would never know it). Nothing very remarkable about the interior, but all clean and tidy. Not a bad selection from the two banks of five handpumps, from which the Fistful of Hops from Falstaff Brewery (£2.19) looked the most appealing.

This place seems to have declined since some of the reviews below as I found it to be a fairly average JDW. It's a rather dull rectangular room where the aircon ducts are exposed. The colour scheme was a rather odd red and pale green and there is lower seating and a few booths at the rear. It wasn't very busy on my Wednesday afternoon visit.
The ten hand pumps had two unused, the two GK beers doubled up, Enville Ginger, Caledonian XPA, Robinson's Trooper and Woods Pot Of Gold. I went for the Enville Ginger (£2.79) which bizarrely was priced at a huge 60p dearer than the standard guest ale. It was in reasonable condition. Later in the day I noticed the same beer on sale in their more expensive Wolverhampton outlet for just £2.65.
I really didn't think this was any more than a very marginally above average Spoons.

We popped in here on a Thursday around lunchtime and the place was very busy. In spite of this, the service was fast and efficient. Quite a few of the ales had 'coming soon' labels that had fallen off, so my choice was limited down to Exmoor Wild Cat, which was fine.
