UPDATE: This pub has had an external makeover, and is currently closed for an internal one - it should re-open soon. Will venture back when it is.

(Dec 2010) A narrow, but quite long, detached, undressed brick build.
The interior has the bar to the left on entry and is effectively one long room that is in red and white, with a wood floor. A few mirrors mask the fact that it looks a bit bare. There is a stage at one end (the front bay window). It has a dart board and a pool table, though no tip for the cue. There is a TV, but it wasn't on and the music was supplied by a restricted choice jukebox, but played at a decent level. The service was fine and the clientele consisted of a few locals.
Beer; all tap stuff, with a decent keg Highgate MILD. No real ale.
The lack of real ale means i wouldn't bother to go back. A basic place really.
