A family owned village pub dating fron the 18th Century, modernised and opened out to form a single circular bar on several levels. There is a car park at the front and side and a garden behind. In addition there is a large function room in an extension at the side and a separate skittle alley. The bar areas are open plan, carpeted and comfortable, and they’re heated by a woodburner in a large chimney breast by the middle bar. Food was freshly cooked nad good value. Ales on were Pershore Solstice Gold and Jurassic from DBC. There was a third, dry handpump. Both ales were in first class condition. Very much worth finding of you’re passing through – it’s only 400 yards off the main road and offers much better value than other nearby pubs.

I agree with Graham, a traditional village pub with 3 beers and lots going for it. It doesn't quite score a 10 though, most pubs don't.
