Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Man of Kent
Very attractive old pub, situated beside the River Medway on a back road between Golden Green and East Peckham. The tile-hung exterior has been extended several times, with part of the main façade having a shop-front appearance. The multi-room interior has been partially opened-out at some stage, but the very low ceiling clearly demonstrates the main building's age, and with the very traditional furniture / decor a considerable amount of character remains. Clips for Harvey's, Easy Street Pale from Tonbridge (4.40), Landlord and Theakston's Bitter on four of the six handpumps, although my pint was actually served direct from the cellar on this revisit.
