Plas Coch was, thankfully, quiet during a recent midweek evening visit, although I did spot one or two toy grab machines and this large Marstons pub is very food led so I imagine it is not so quiet during peak dining times. The bar supports four handpumps, but only Hobgoblin was available alongside a standard keg range and San Miguel. Greg Wallace was on the television, I would have preferred some background music! Outside is a large lawn with picnic tables and a children’s play area. This isn’t somewhere I will go just for a beer again.

A large Marston's eat-u-like pub in a retail park. Very family friendly and as it was half-term it was overrun with kids on this lunchtime visit. It can be quite loud with surround sound whingeing so hopefully you can visit on a quieter day. 4 handpumps on the bar serving Marston's Pedigree, Crag Rat and Moonless IPA today.
