Difficult to give a comprehensive review as it was a rugby day, so not really representative of a normal Saturday. My friend and I called in for lunch. Best pub lunch I've had for ages. The cod and chips was so substantial, the chips came in a separate dish. It wasn't cook-chill, or frozen - it was freshly prepared and piping hot. My friend had Hunter's Chicken, which was also piping hot. It was so good that she just about left the pattern on the plate! Drink prices were very reasonable, the staff were friendly, there was a decent crowd in there, and all in all it was excellent value for money. We're definitely going to pay a return visit.
