The most upmarket Craft Union pub ever. A tidy higgledy-piggledy interior with some nice views over the harbour. Oddly, the bogs are located down a staircase in the middle of the pub, I presume that this is due to opening-out and extensions over the years. 6 Nations gumpf all round making clear that this is the lower town’s main offering as a sports venue. There’s also an impressive collection of wood-mounted shields (of what variety I have no idea, presumably seafaring?). Three national ale stagers and I had a good half of Tribute (NBSS 3.5). Suspect it'll never be GBG round this neck of the woods but it's good enough on this showing for those who are after quality as opposed to merely choice.

One of a number of pubs on Falmouth's main street with a modernised interior and views over the harbour. The interior is decorated with blue panelling and white walls (apart from a small red-panelled area at the front) with rows of fairly plain tables in light wood. Available on handpump were Doom Bar, Tintagel Cornwall's Pride, Otter and a cider.

The Grapes is a decent looking pub that is on Falmouths main shopping street.
If you enter from the side entrance the bar faces on entry,there is a decent sized single room which is part carpeted and bare boarded,the seating is normal tables and chairs.
There were four real ales on the bar,we had a drink of Skinners Lushingtons,which went down very well,the other real ales were Skinners Cornish Knocker,Exmoor Ale and Doom Bar.
Food is served.
The rear windows give good views of the harbour.
Our first visit here was on a Saturday night,they suddenly started to move people off tables that were in the middle area and taking lights down,this was for a disco,so we had to find another table,it never did get going while we were in there.
We revisited the pub later in the week when it was a lot better.
