After visit the Red Lion Inn I thoroughly enjoyed myself very much. The staff were very friendly and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves!!
Since the smoking ban the Red Lion Inn has made a few changes to its criteria: a smoking shelter with a cosy bench, and even specially modified cigarette bins.
The food was prepared by a well known local chef, and was very appatising. There are a few board games for children and even a dolls house for younger children, after visiting I must say how much I myself have enjoyed being in their company. With the fabulous food, friendly staff and enjoyable drinks not much can go wrong!

Could not get into the Pembrey Inn it was packed out of the door so went accross to the Red Lion my first time ever. The chap behind bar was friendly but plastic top tables tin ashtrays and the biggest TV I have ever seen in my life,in what, is quite a small bar Killed any atmosphere at all due to everybody in the bar about 8-10 locals all sat glued to the TV and the scarey thing was the sound was turned down. I dank my large G&T and left.
Back to the Pembrey took me 20 mins to get a drink (so got a Double Double G&T and went into the garden had a fab night. Red Lion get rid of the monster TV, Tin ash trays and plastic tables. Sorry more like a 1970's Working mans club.
