Old Boots left this review about The Primrose

A stranger from a strange star, a sort of lost place, it’s a pub but not as we know it. All the bits are there just not in the right order. A jumble sale of some sort was happening in the bar. Beer wise the central servery had Stella, two varieties of Strongbow, John Smiths Cold and a couple of unused pulls, there was a sign referring to cask ale but none to be seen. It has two bars but there's nowt to choose between them other than the labels. There was a pop up stage which replaced a pool table in the front bar for a previous evenings soiree. Looks like music and community involvement are the watchwords here, ok once you pass the weirdness or difference of the place.
