Classic little back street local which is well worth the short stroll from the main road. A superb pint of HPA and the tables out front are a real suntrap. Nice to see a local pub being well used. Even do a meat raffle which is something you don't see often any more!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Gloster Arms
Backstreet local doing remarkably good business on the first Sunday after the Covid-19 lockdown, with a mostly young crowd in and a proper pub atmosphere. Otherwise, fairly unremarkable inside the 'L'-shaped bar and side room (with dartboard), but with some of the seating marked out of use, the wooden benches at the front helped. Wye Valley HPA and Butty Bach available from two of three handpumps, plus the keg Theakston's Mild (£3.50).
