Old Boots left this review about The Beck
Double fronted Victorian building knocked into a single room with two floor levels. The counter is on the lower level with 8 pulls of mainly Yorkshire micros beers plus some national kegs on single founts and some interesting bottles. Fairly plain decor with darts, big screen and piped music. Good local feel about the place. There was a beer festival going on in a marquee in yard, with10 beers on pull, all from Yorkshire with brewers Elland, Northern Monk, Fuzzy Duck, Wentworth & Bad Co, unusually there were 11 ciders, refreshments were provided by two food trailers, one selling chicken burgers and the other doughnuts and sweets. It's about half a mile along Bradford Road going north out of Brighouse town centre but worth the effort.
