Two bar pub although they’re linked by a large gap at the back. A basic locals pub like so many in Eccleshill, a little more thought in the decor here in as far as it has fake brick and stone wallpaper and board, carpet and tiled flooring. A pool table and screens are available. Bit of a mix of seating, mainly banquette and stools at wooden tables. It’s an all keg pub with nothing out of the ordinary, I had a Theakstons best and that confirmed my preference for cask beer. Cash only.

The Victoria Hotel is a decent enough looking stone built pub.
Once inside the pub still has two separate rooms, the bar room to the left is T shaped, the seating is small stools at tables, there is a pool table to the front right and a TV to the right showing football,Everton v Chelsea i think.
The lounge to the right is more comfy with bench seating and small stools for seating.
There are four pumps on the bar all unclipped,so it was a drink of Tetley Smooth crap, which was crap, the other keg bitter was John Smiths smooth crap.
Background music was playing.
This could be a decent pub if it stocked at least one real ale.
