ROB Camra left this review about The Duchess of Kent

Hidden away in a sea of decay, this was a beacon of light on a dreary evening in Bradford, The outside in inviting with a pleasant façade along with hanging baskets. Inside is a pleasant, clean pub. Sadly it has some stupid book wallpaper, but it also has a really interesting clock incorporated into it. Bare flags or floorboarded throughout, with a small beer yard to rear. Friendly barmaid of Eastern European origin, as were several of the customers. There's also a dartboard on the way out to the beer yard. A pint of Naylors Chinook was in good nick and was just £2.50 with the generous CAMRA discount.

Old Boots left this review about The Duchess of Kent

Single room traditional pub, tiled counter at the back with 4 pulls of generally local stuff plus 2 t-bars of national and odder stuff including an own label lager, and a proper Guinness tap. Grey walls and pump clip decor in places but nice wallpaper and brewery advert's add a better tone in the front two spaces.

Request to mark pub as open submitted by John Yeadon, with included notes: This is now primarily a Polish food bistro. Despite apearances no draught lager, beer or cider are available but there is a large refrigerated cabinet amply resourced with bottles of Polish beer and there are tall bar stools to perch on.
