Now under new management, but the pub is basically the same. The pinball machine has long gone unfortunately. On the bar today Harvey's Best, TT Landlord and something else. Landlord was good, didn't try the others.

The Rose and Crown is a large faux rustic pub with two bar areas. The smaller bar is to the left where there is some comfortable seating and where the coffee drinkers are more likely to be found. The right hand bar was very busy during my late Saturday night visit and it was a bit of a struggle to escape into the beer garden at the rear. There is a little alcove with a pinball machine in it which took a couple of quid from me.
The service was friendly and the London Pride was on good form. Harveys Best and Sharp’s Doom Bar were also available alongside a standard draught selection.

The décor may be a little over the top, but I didn’t mind it in here and would have no problem returning.

Been here several times for lunch and found it excellent. Today, however, went to order lunch at the bar and was told to take a seat and waitress would take my order. 35 mins later I left, hungry.
