A now red rendered, rather plain looking corner pub, with patio area.

The interior was an L-shape room curving around the serving bar area. The decor is a red and white, with fakey beams, with a white and beam ceiling and wood floor. A central red-brick chimney breast feature breaks up the room, which had a nice fire. The one end has bar stools and perimeter seating, then there is a sofa zone in the middle and the far end has a pool table and dart board. There is also a DJ area. There was a TV, down the bar stool end, which had the footy on. There was little in the way of pictures and ephemera for interest, just the Xmas decorations. The service was fine, the clientele a few locals and there was no music.

Beer; no real ale, tap stuff, without even a MILD. I had a bitter shandy.

Another run-of-the-mill basic kind of place really, especially as there wasn't even a keg MILD. Simply the lack of beer choice for me would stop me going back.
