Another food pub with a couple of beers on. The service was fine. Another one for the locals!

Soup Dragon left this review about The Mill House

This is a detached Flaming Grill chain pub and eatery, with a patio and kid's play area. formerly the Yardley Arms Hotel (1880's), when this area was very rural, it did become the Mill House for a while, before reverting to its proper name. The building is in Georgian style. It is near square, in plain brick, having pedimented and pilastered upper sash windows (in black and a garish orange), decorative eaves, lower bay windows (also black and orange) with a neo-classic porched entrance. Apart from the colour scheme, it looks class. The interior has been opened-up into one big room. The one end is foody, the other more bar-ish, with pool table, dart board and TV (footy). The colour scheme has a mix of things like orange, grey, cream, brown etc. A few old photos are juxtaposed with animal and strange arty pictures, but thankfully the Halloween decorations brightened the place up. The music was charty and a bit loud. The service was OK and the clientele mixed, from mature to the trakkie lot. Beer; usual tap stuff with no real ale, despite 3 handpulls. I had pop and left. Not the nicest time I have had.
