A decent place and unlike a couple nearby this place is a lot more down to earth. From what I saw it was a J-shaped bar. Despite its Irish name its not overtly Oirish, the only nod to Irishness seemed to be some portraits of Irish writers. There where 2 handpumps on the bar with Doom Bore and, thankfully, Titanic Plum Porter on today. I liked it.

A trendy corner street pub, with the interior timberwork predominately painted with some stencilling around the top of the walls and ornate chandeliers. The clientele were mixed and the staff friendly enough. Beer wise there was a Purity UBU, St Austell Tribute and M&B Mild. My St Austell Tribute was served too cold.

A detached corner pub with an exterior of half undressed brick, with several string courses and half light blue. There is a patio at the back.

The interior had a single open plan room, that i saw, which curved L-shape around the bar. The decor is white and grey wood panel walls, with grey ceiling and grey upper wall, along with some undressed brick. There is a tiled floor and ornate from the chandeliers hang from the ceiling. The walls had pictures of Irish authors; Yeats, Shaw and Behan and there were several TVs, on of which, a larger one, had the football on. The service was fine, the clientele small.

Beer; tap stuff, with a so-so M&B MILD. No real ale.

A lack of beer choice would mean, at best, i would stop here for one.
