Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Pavilion

Nice old building, set back from the road behind a former car park that is now a plain patio with circular wooden benches. The doors of the central entrance are marked 'Bar' and 'Lounge' but both lead to the same opened-out 'U'-shaped area (albeit past a pool table in the former case). There is also another area at the back raised by a single step with the dartboard and possibly used as a stage (although a singer was setting up near the central servery when I popped in). Mix of semi-modern furniture and generally light decor improved with a few local history photographs. Banks's Amber (£2.50) and Wainwright available from the pair of handpumps.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Pavillion

This is a detached Marston's pub, with front patio. I am not sure how long it has been a pub, but takes its name from the sports fields behind. The pub is in Georgian style, being in brick, with a neo-classic entrance, moulded cornice and dormer range. The interior has two entrances - to the lounge on the right and the snug on the left, and although they appear to be separate rooms, they do meet at the back where the serving bar is. The snug has bench seating, a pool table, a TV with footy on and a tiled fireplace. It is in cream, green and wood panel/ The lounge has bench seating, a tiled fire, and is in red and wood panel. The area at the back also has a fireplace, TVs and high stools. It is in red, cream and blue wood panel. There is a jukebox and the service was friendly. A few mature locals arrived as i was leaving. Old photos are on the walls. A good mix between modern and traditional. Beer; usual tap stuff with M&B MILD, with a single handpull - Banks's Bitter, which was fine. I enjoyed my stop here - not the best beer choice, but i would happily return for one.
