Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Highbury Inn
Substantial pub built by Mitchell's & Butler's in the 1920s with a heritage interior in two completely separate parts. The wedge-shaped public bar is accessed via the main corner entrance, and a snug (with its own small counter) can be found up one step in the left-hand corner. At the other end of the building, a lounge bar can be found with another branch from the central servery, behind which lies a function room at the back being used for an aerobics class when I visited. Just Doom Bar (£3.10) available from the various handpumps, but at least a real ale was offered, and apparently Tribute had also been available recently.

A detached 1930s pub and eatery, with patio area. The pub is a little blander than most of its day, but has a nice finialed porch entrance and M&B plaque. It is in undressed brick, with tall stacks and built as a part of the housing expansions at that time. The interior has a function room (it has live music) and a small wood panelled snug, with stripey bench seating and a small fireplace. The main room is V-shaped and in two parts joined by a small corridor section. The front area is the bar, with pool, darts and a few TVs, which had the footy on. It is in red and cream mainly, with bench seating, wood floor and a smallish fireplace. The back area is in patterned wallpaper, carpet and looks to be more for the dining - as it has a nice fireplace too. There are old photos on the walls and the music was mixed and at a decent level. The service was very friendly and the clientele was mixed and maturer. Beer; usual tap stuff with Doombar, Cross Bay Halo and Highbury Cask (Tetley's), the last two being decent enough. A far better experience than i expected and a place i would pop back to for a swifty. A tidy place.
