Visited on Sunday as part of a group going for a meal. The pub is a bit of a tardis and seems very large on the inside. Four hand pulls at the bar, two of which were labelled as "Coming Soon" and the other two were offering Hydes Original and Kansas Avenue Emerald Pale (Kansas Avenue being a Hydes brand). I tried both (well it would be rude not to) and they were both pleasant traditional inoffensive beers that slip down nicely with a meal and seemed to be in good nick.

I had the roast beef and the portion was much more generous than I expected. Decent amount of meat, nice roast potatoes, giant Yorkshire pudding and some veggies.

Probably not somewhere I would make the effort to go to just for a pint but I'd certainly consider it again for a nice meal.

Went here for a meal this weekend and the food was absolutely divine. Highly recommend it to anyone.
