Backstreet local that has had ill-advised ‘investment’ inside. The two old rooms are now accessible via a knocked-through doorway. The left area is the old lounge, to the right is a public bar with two busy pool tables. Snot green paint and no real comfort to be found. No ale or pumps so half a Guinness again, a Chertsey & Addlestone speciality. This place doesn't feel like a victory to me. 4.5

A bit rough and ready with loud music and no real ale but at least they had a good cider.
