As Mr Ashworth noted it is larger than it looks. 7 handpumps on the bar with 4 Hyde's beers plus 3 guests on today. A nice enough pub for a drink.

Respectable main road pub in the centre of Cheadle village,which is quite larger on the inside than the outer facade suggests.On entering, the bar is facing you, with to the left an attractive raised platform area,which has a fine display of brasses and other bric-a-brac.Sampled a pint ot Hyde,s Owd Oak Dark which seemed in good fettle,on my Tuesday lunchtime visit.Certainy worth a visit.
