James Past left this review about The Oxford Arms
A quaint stone built village pub which looks to have been extended into the adjoining cottage at some time over the years and gives an extra dining area. I visited on a warm day in early October but was welcomed by a log fire blazing and friendly member of staff who as soon as I had ordered a half politely asked if I would be dining today . . . . I had not intended to but did order a cheese and chutney sandwich which, although a little pricy, was served quickly and tasted good. Two hand pumps serving a St Austell and a Hook Norton beer with a third one selling a cider. The food menu on a big blackboard above the fire showed a variety of dishes available so worth a visit for diners as well as drinkers.
