An excellent riverside pub which hasn’t been spoilt by tourism or students, well described below. I particularly liked the warm welcome from the staff and the pub Labrador who seemed to be enjoying himself, while the selection of vinyl records played made it all the more homely. Ales were in excellent condition – Rocket Juice and Banoffee Pie from Three Blind Mice Brewery, Old Ale and Southwold from Adnams, Milton’s Minerva and Grain Brewery’s Redwood. Try before you buy was offered. I’ll definitely be back.

A fine pub this one in a nice riverside location. Old decent exposed brickwork, some quarry tiled flooring, the rest bare boarded. There is a beamed ceiling with beermats all over, a shelf contains various board games. They have a turntable record player here, a T. Rex album was playing, great stuff. Curved bar, a couple of small side rooms, an end area has a sign "Not the Toilet", assume they get fed up with enquiries. A good range indeed, Cambridge Brew Company Night Porter plus their King's Parade, Milton Sparta, Nene Valley Brewery Blonde Session Ale, Brewster's Hophead and Weston's Wildwood cider. Another was named Theresa Mayhem which made me chuckle, the tagline said "I'd have got away with it without those pesky kids". A good pub this, the location is touristy being riverside but if you time it right you're on a winner here.

Well worth a visit this one and certainly ticked all the boxes for me. This corner pub sits in an idyllic spot, known as Mill Pond. The pub has an old timber floor throughout and original large Georgian windows. If you venture to the rear of the pub, you will come across an oak panelled snug. There were eight pumps on the bar, with six beers on and one cider. So we went for the Moonshine Brewery Sundowner. The pub had a good relaxed atmosphere to it and you could be tempted to stay in here for a while.
