The Showboat is an L-shaped pub with right and left hand bars that were both busy with a local crowd during a recent Thursday evening visit. The bar counter supports standard keg products. In the right hand side bar is a dartboard and in the left is a pool table. Out the back is an advertised beer garden that I didn’t visit. The television in the left hand bar was showing some random program that was drowned out by loud music being played through cheap speakers. The service was polite, but I think I’ll leave this place to the locals in future.

Horseshoe shaped bar serving 2 rooms. One side has a dartboard and the other a pool table, there obviously used to be a second dartboard in this room or maybe it's only used on matchdays. There's a DJ/Karaoke rig in one corner and several TV's around the pub were tuned to Magic FM on my Friday afternoon visit. No real ale sadly, but it's a nice enough pub.
