Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Swan
Newly reopened after a worrying period of closure, so it's good to see one back up and running again. Plain but attractive traditional façade, but not much original character left inside the front steps following various changes over the years. Now comprises a 'L'-shaped bar with a couple of small side seating areas and a larger cleared space at the far end housing two pool tables. Just Theakston Bitter (£3.30) available from a brace of handpumps, with Caledonian Flying Scotsman noted as coming next on a chalkboard.
