Alan Winfield left this review about The Rose & Crown

The Rose and Crown is one of two pubs still open in this Vale of Belvoir village.
Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms and we had a drink in the bar which was a very nice room to have a drink in,the pub was a free house when we went in it and there were six real ales on the bar i had a drink of Everards Old Original which was a very nice drink the other beers were Adnams bitter,Kimberley bitter,Ruddles County,Theakstons Old Peculiar and Theakstons bitter.
I though this was a very nice pub to have a few drinks in.
