Our second pub in the village of Weston Turville was much more focused on drinkers than diners. In fact, it was very busy with a good mix of drinkers and diners. Many were outside in the front garden, but there were also a fair few indoors.
The 2 real ales were both from the old Charles Wells brewery, now called Brewpoint. I chose the Charlie Wells Origin. The other was Charlie Wells DNA. I'd not seen these before, but my beer was certainly in good condition. The better of the 2 pubs we tried in Weston Turville.

A recently renovated Victorian roadside inn, currently a Wells house. There is a small car park at the front, and more parking at the side and rear. The front garden is large, mainly laid to lawn, with bench seating, tables and umbrellas. It also has children's play facilities, a barbecue area and a couple of comfy outside seats, but the noise from the jukebox mars the al fresco experience. Inside, there is an L-shaped main bar, the short leg of which is laid to table for diners, while the remainder of the bar has Spartan seating and stools and an ancient fireplace which has been retained to add character. The staff were a mixed bag, mainly pleasant apart from one wide-boy, which the customers were quite friendly. A dining room is off to the right hand side. There are cheap restaurant food and bar snacks available. There were 3 ales on: Wells's Eagle and Wallop, and Young's Special. The beer wasn't that well kept but it was drinkable nonetheless. Fine for a drink if passing.
