looks considerably nicer than it is. one of a cluster of pretty downmarket blokes pubs in this part of town. like the others it's rough and ready and karaoke central on a Friday/Saturday night.

A small somewhat intimate pub. It was friendly enough and the single room is fairly traditional. Not much in the way of real ale choice and as it seems to be a Thwaites pub the only beer on on my visit was a rather dull Thwaites Bitter.

Not a good visit this time was the only customer in had to wait long enough for any one to appear to serve me then right onto his phone
