this nice traditional pub is the last one in this lovely harbour village. not gastrofied to death like many of its kind. three standard Thwaites beers and Lancaster Bomber which was pretty rancid on this visit. barbecue was serving burgers and sausages in the car park/beer garden - I suspect it's a popular community pub

The somewhat industrial location of this nice pub may deter some. Offering better than average food and good beer it makes a good starting or finishing point for many walks in the area. The walk on the defunct railway offers all season waking, being a mixture of gravel and tarmac, and follows the river for many miles. The marshes nearby are a haven for all manner of birds especially in winter.

Visited this dockside pub on a Saturday lunchtime.
Very friendly, welcoming & comfortable.
Extensive menu, delicious freshly cooked food. Children’s menu, specials, vegetarian options.
Real ales include Lancaster Bomber, which was very good. No smoking restaurant.
Level access, clean, accessible loos, car park .

Glasson Dock is situated on an arm of the Lancaster Canal and the River Lune, there are pleasant canalside & riverside walks to work up an appetite or burn off the calories, and excellent bird watching especially in winter.
The dock still does a brisk trade, in summer it’s pleasant to sit outside & watch the boats.
