after a major refubishment the forts arms is a very friendly homly local offering good beers at reasonable prices and excellent weekend entertainment. it also host live football in high definition from sky and (sultana santana banana) pub games three pool teams a good darts and domino team and a sunday football team so all in all a very good all round local. when i first moved to the area i was told that the forts arms had a bad reputation but what nonsense.very friendly landlord and land lady and all the regulars made me feel very welcome
