Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Rose & Crown
Traditional-looking village pub when viewed from the road, but the interior has been partly opened-out and refurbished in a slightly more modern style than one might expect. It now comprises a U-shaped bar with what initially appears to be further smaller semi-open rooms beyond on each side, but the servery is actually on an island. Quiet inside when I visited on a Saturday afternoon, but the sunny patio beer garden at the back was full. As a Shepherd Neame house, I found Master Brew, Whitstable Bay Pale (£4.40) and Spitfire available from three of the four handpumps.

The Rose and Crown is a Shepherd Neame owned pub situated in the middle of the high street in the Kent village of Wrotham.
Pleasant off white exterior and the two spaces either side of the central bar area internally retain a traditional pub décor with no fruit machines, quiz machines or tv’s. One area is more focused on food and although we didn’t eat here, from what I could see the food menu was a bit above your average pub grub, but not to the gastro levels of the Bull Hotel up the road.
On the beer side the bar supports 3 pumps, 2 which had Spitfire & Master brew from the Shepherd Neame stable and the third had been a guest ale but unfortunately reverse clipped for my visit.
In conclusion, nice village pub with a decent pint of Spitfire.
