Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Anchor Inn
Very traditional pub on this small town's attractive High Street, comprising the main bar to the right (with unusual full-length windows and a compact pool room beyond) and more of a dining room on the other side of the central entrance. Plenty of hop bines on the lintels and ceiling beams, and a mix of other decorative features. Dogs also appear more-or-less compulsory. Three of the four handpumps were operational, offering Harvey's, Tonbridge Traditional and the more local Gadds Seasider (£4.20).
