Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Western
Modernised bar / restaurant that seems to have less emphasis on sports these days (although there are still plenty of TV screens, but these were advertising live music and DJ events when I visited). Two seating / dining areas at the front and another at a slightly lower level at the back. Patio beer garden with a few wooden 'beach huts'. Limited menu. Just Doom Bar (£4.55) available from the pair of handpumps, with Source from Laine and Big Smoke's Cold Spark among the keg offerings.

Malden man left this review about Druids
A sports oriented bar with a clear rugby bias, there are framed shirts all over the walls and Six Nations flags over the ceiling. There are several TVs as you'd expect, a couple were showing the cricket World Cup at the time, blackboards outside were advertising screenings of all this weekend's football Euro Championship qualifiers. The pub is a single room with a centre squint ended bar, wood flooring, very little in the way of standard seating, being mostly high tables but with a couple of sofas too. There is a fair sized outdoor area to one side. Menus on the tables with the pretty standard fare of burgers, nachos, sandwiches etc being reasonably priced (burger £5.95). Three pumps, Doom Bar, Bombardier and GK IPA with that north or south preference pump. The Doom Bar was ok at £3.10.
The pub is probably fine for watching the match but it isn't particularly traditional or comfortable. From what I saw there isn't a deal of choice in Rickmansworth though.

Clive Thompson left this review about Druids
One of three, or maybe four, pubs owned by the Druid Pub Co. in Hertfordshire. Located at one end of the High Street next to an M&S food store with handy bus stops nearby. New looking clean building with a good outside seating area. Inside there are a number of TV screens showing sport - the Druid pubs generally have a rugby theme. A few real ales on offer and a good food menu. I suspect it becomes popular with the party crowd on a Friday and Saturday night.
