Large place, a number of rooms and extensions. Fairly bland interior and randomly lit, the room to the right accessible via two brick archways was the cosiest. Lots of drinkers amongst the diners and was enjoyably ‘locally’, with a meat raffle underway. Child friendly with outside bouncy castle. GBG listed though just two on, Doom Bar and Upham Punter with a Broadside clip turned. The Punter was in pretty good shape. Harassed staff on Mothers Day and I didn’t feel particularly welcome. A fair stop, but perhaps expected more.
