New Forest pub that specialises in gluten-free food and drinks.

It has a very regimented Covid-19 policy and became the first pub where I've had my temperature checked since the start of the pandemic.

The regular ales are Flack Manor Flack's Double Drop & Fuller's London Pride. A guest ale was Hambleton Stud Blonde.

When totting up the price for half of the Stud Blonde, a half of draught cider and a lemonade, the price was already up to over £8, before adding on 2 packs of crips. I queried this, as I wouldn't be expecting any more than £6-7. But what was presumably the landlandy started again and got to £8 odd total, including the crisps, before re-confirming that she was right in the first place! The moral of the story - make sure you're not being overcharged.

The pub tries to have a one-way system. But it's all quite cramped. A nice village pub. But temperature checks should not be required and watch out for overcharging.

Excellent and well-kept pub tucked away on a quiet road but worth a diversion. Good traditional feel to the main room, with lots of beams and brasses, and a plainer room to the side with pool table. Fairly heavy food trade, but seemed home-cooked and with lots of offers. Claims to be the "most dog-friendly pub in the New Forest". Might be worth a higher rating but it was only a passing visit - definitely recommended.
