Quinno _ left this review about The Greyhound

A few paces up the hill, this one doesn’t look immediately inviting as the exterior is a bit shabby and upon entering there was the distinct whiff of stale cigarettes. A traditional two room interior. Points of note included a pool table, trophy cabinet, muted sports TV, black & white pictures of old Overton, some retro Schweppes prints and, unusually, some glazed earthenware pots on the window sill. Five pumps, four ales (GK IPA, OSH, Upham Sprinter, Skinners Betty Stogs). The Betty Stogs was OK but lacking a little sparkle. Loads of bar snacks, you won’t go hungry. Great banter amongst the (almost exclusively male) regulars, those who enjoy Viz would get a good laugh here. I quite liked it though it could be even better. GBG 2014 listed.

Old Boots left this review about The Greyhound

Two old cottages knocked through to give a large single open internal space that doesn't quite work. A pool table, dart boards and TV take up most of one end with comfortable seating around the remaining parts. Décor is plain white walls with a few brewery mirrors and some old photos of the village and some of the pub's customers and events. Beers from Greene King, Marstons, Wadworths and Deuchars as well as a fairly standard keg range. The Deuchars I had was definitely lacklustre and not long for this world.
