Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Pig in Paradise

Large, vaguely modern, bar housed in the ground floor of one of the oddest-looking buildings on Hastings seafront. Absolutely deserted on a Friday afternoon, so there was no problem getting a seat at one of the two tables by the front windows (a plus since it gets very dark as you go further back). Also has a rear room with a pool table, etc. Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen (£3.00) on offer from two of three handpumps.

Steve C left this review about The Pig in Paradise

The Pig in Paradise is a pub on the seafront that was busy with a student crowd when I visited on Monday evening last week. It is open plan with the bar on the left hand wall, but a couple of large columns in the centre do break the drinking space up a bit. To the right of the entrance is another room that houses a pool table and a test your strength boxing machine. There is a jukebox that was cranked up quite loud and I spotted two plasma screens that were showing muted Sky Sports. I found the service to be friendly and the Guinness was on good form. Other standard draught products were also available alongside two hand pumps that were drawing Harveys Best and Hobgoblin. Cheap food is served and there is live music at the weekends. I spotted that the event on the Friday night that had just passed had an entry fee of £4, but I don’t know if this was payable after a certain time for late comers.

I’ve been in worse places, but I’m not a student anymore so I would probably walk past if in the area again.
