The Archaeology Of Sheep In Snowdonia, Capel Curig, Plas y Brenin
When
8pm - 9pm, Tue 22nd May
About
The present landscape of Snowdonia has been heavily influenced by sheep farming and the physical remains of sheep management are the most common historical features to be seen in the hills.
This talk looks at the purpose of those odd walls and shelters that you will have seen but may not have noticed while walking in Snowdonia.
This evening's speaker is Jane Kenney, Senior Archaeologist at Gwynedd Archaeological Trust. Talk starts at 8pm, free and open to all.
