Coming this summer! The Scaftworth Regatta!
We have decided that this beautiful river that we are so lucky to have on our doorstep needs to be used, so don your pirate hats and dig out your Jolly Roger.
On August Bank Holiday Sunday we will be holding a raft race, something that we hope will become an annual tradition.
Anyone can enter a team, and the goal is to build a raft, and with your shipmates, race it from The King William Inn, exactly one mile down river to the bridge at Bawtry.
There will be live music during and afterwards, a King Billy style barbecue, and plenty of fun things to do for everyone.
