The Beer Festival of all Beer Festivals set in the quirky one and a half acre beer garden of the CAMRA award winning Halfway House pub in Brenchley. With 80 different Real Ales served straight from the barrel and all sourced from within 80 miles of the pub it is truly celebrating some of the best and newest breweries the South East has to offer (some old favourites and some we are sure you will never have heard of). It will also be our biggest festival to date!
We have 9 music acts performing on our rustic wooden stage over the weekend from an American blues singer touring the UK to a five piece rock/pop band to the only banjo band in Kent.
The pub is open as usual inside and serves meals all day whilst hot food will also be available in the garden.
Unlike many beer festivals we also have a fully stocked garden bar with Spirits, Prosecco, Pimms and even draught Lager and Guinness if ale isn't your thing.
Getting Here: We are based just outside of the picturesque and quaint village of Brenchley - on the main road between Brenchley & Horsmonden. There is plenty of parking onsite, with an overflow car park in the field opposite, though even that can get full at our busiest times so car sharing is appreciated. The closest train station is 'Paddock Wood' which is a 10 minute/ £12 taxi away. Or there is a bus stop directly outside the pub which is on the Tunbridge Wells to Teneterden route (The 297), though it will only be operating on the Friday and Saturday this weekend.
