175th Anniversary - History & Charity Fundraiser Weekend, Bevois Valley, The Rockstone

The Rockstone is situated in a building steeped in history, and on March 23rd this year, it will be exactly 175 years since the building was officially first leased by the Eldridge Pope's Dorchester Brewery.
So we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to celebrate not only the history of the building but also celebrate the history surrounding us in Bevois Valley and the fine community that lives in it.
We shall be raising money over this weekend for a wonderful local community charity called Communicare in Southampton
Heres what to expect from the weekend:
The walls of The Rockstone will be full of amazing photos and information, showing the pub and the surrounding area from the last 175 years, kindly put together by the lovely ladies at Bevois Mount History Southampton
Live Music on Saturday Evening from The Fake Shakes
Local cask beer showcase from Friday, featuring plenty of traditional English brews from local brewers.
As always plenty of food, including new food specials for the weekend.
We shall be selling raffle tickets over the weekend, with all proceeds going to our chosen charity partner, with plenty of Rockstone prizes to be won!!
Plenty more to be announced.
