About
The fourth Saturday of the Month means..

If you ever enjoyed those hazy days from the late 80's, just during the end of the hip hop and the beginning of the Hip House, Acid House era's.
If you were fortunate enough to be entertained by some of the underground DJ's who used to spin the styles of music that the DJ's were playing at the white isle (Ibiza), which became the foundations of the sound that soon became labelled as Balearic Music.
If you were there at the edge or in the middle of the Acid House Scene which grew its roots and flourished in the UK, to become the foundations of the genre which developed towards becoming and labelled The Dance Scene.
If you enjoyed, Hand Bag House, Uplifting House, US Garage, Hard House and cross over Old School, Early Techno and techno influenced house of the early years and frequented clubs and raves in and around the South East of England, the Midlands, Manchester, Liverpool and enjoyed the sounds of The Madchester and evolving lifestyle of headonistic nights that turned into days.
If you followed the DJ's and their styles over the pirate radio stations, some of which became legal, and for a while retained their musical integrity.
If you used to trawl around the record shops of the back streets of soho and other independant specialist stores, to secure your own copy of your favourite sound that you vaguely remembered hearing in a club or rave somewhere over the weekend.
If you used to love forgetting your inhibitions for what seemed like a few minutes every weekend, but was actually many hours which then grew to mold your musical enjoyment for years to come.
If you still get that rush of goosebumps when you hear the music you used to love from those smoke filled dancefloors or those dark corners of those underground clubs and warehouses.
If you fancy re living some of those musical and dancing experiences this is definitely the nihgt and place for you to come to hear and enjoy it.

Every 4th Saturday of the month, Dave Simpson, tears up the dancefloor area (the middle of the pub, and sometimes the seats around the side) with live mixing the way it used to be. All original or the correct versions, with the relevant acappella mixing, of all the exact right records that will transport you back to those heady days.

Although his relentless energy to keep you entertained is vibrant, dont forget to take a breather every now and again, to come up for air... we aren't 21 these days in body. Although we can believe we are anything for a more civilised length of time, at your favourite local music spot every 4th saturday of the month.

He is happy to entertain requests where possible, but unless you are totally dissatisfied with the party atmosphere he creates, get yourself a drink, get to the dancefloor, or pull up a seat, or hang around near the DJ booth to watch him in action.
Playing the best classics and old skool anthems from the late 80s through the nineties into the noughties

We guarantee you will be completely satisfied with how much your feet are hurting through the un-resistable desire to dance your socks off!
