We are starting a group on Wednesday 28th February called Midweek meet up!! We are sure that there are lonely people out there and The White Lion is always a good place to meet new people, have a chat and a laugh! So this is how we would like it to work, starting on Wednesday 28th February at midday, there will be FREE tea and coffee and FREE biscuits. We're going to get the pack of cards out as well.....been ages since we had a game of cribbage or two!
Now here is the important bit - its only going to work if people come along, remember YOU ARE DOING US A FAVOUR, NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND.... If you know anyone this could help - PLEASE TELL THEM!!! This is your chance to do something really lovely and maybe change their life! Don't just tell them about this, persuade them to come...
Hopefully people get behind this, we know this will (hopefully) help a few of the many lonely people but we just want to do something. We don't care if you never use the pub again, we don't care if you have never used the pub before and we don't care if you just want to come in and have a look round. Its not about getting customers, its about us doing our bit.
