The Tommy Bentz Band is a power trio that’s been in existence for over 12 years, the guys jamming in the style of what I like to call “the Allman Brothers meets Van Morrison”. These gents grew up with rock, blues, jazz and folk – have crammed all of their musical knowledge and experience into a tight, energetic, appropriate to locale and clientele, live musical package. Amazing musicians in their own right (housing one of the Midwest’s finest slide guitar players), the guys have five original CDs and a full length DVD under their belts and boast a list of covers that would daunt even the most mature bands around – and they ROCK those songs. From the Allman Bros, Gov’t Mule, The Band, Van Morrison, Stevie Ray Vaughn to Clapton, Stones to the Band & the Beatles
