Rhythm Sister is a London & Bristol based DJ collective and community highlighting & supporting women & LGBTQ+, we’re excited to be teaming up with the collectives for their first foray into Brighton. As well as hosting and curating parties, the collective play out regularly and host a monthly show on Balamii Radio.
For their first party here at Patterns, we rubbed heads and decided on MIKE SERVITO and DEBONAIR as our chosen guests. Hailing from Detroit, now residing in Brooklyn NY, The Bunker resident Mike Servito has coined a solid following overseas. Coming from a special time-frame of US techno, house, and illegal raves, this dude has earned his stripes and we can’t wait to have him back at the venue.
On the night, we’re also pleased to be hosting a true tastemaker and one of the most excitingly eclectic selectors about, DEBONAIR. Debi hosts a bi-weekly show on NTS Radio, has recently guested at Chapter 10 and Panorama Bar, with upcoming shows at XOYO, Hope Works and Wire in Leeds for Midland’s UK ‘presents tour.
Rounding off the bill we have Patterns resident DJ Faro and Platform B radio host Daisha, with Liv Ayers and Jess Farley representing RS.
We will also be giving local artists the chance to DJ on the night, collecting submissions before the event, full details on that soon...
Alongside the main club event, the RS crew will be a putting on a daytime workshop, helping those who want to learn how to DJ and produce, giving access in a safe and inclusive environment.
