We have a couple of tweaks to our advertised programme for the next few months.
Mon 2nd October. This will now be John Meriton Proudly Presents! John is a hugely talented singer songwriter, a great friend and supporter of Havant Music Club and also a good mate. He will be playing with a selection of the awesome musicians he knows and also introducing an inspiring newcomer he has discovered in Dorset called Paul Openshaw. Mary Jane will now be playing our Christmas/Yule/What-ever-else you celebrate special on Mon Dec 4th.
Mon 6th November Yeehaa Granma “Combining bluegrass with a skiffle band style. We are a ragtaggle band of misfits with a suitcase, wash tub bass, washboard, guitar, bonjolele, flute, mandolin, harmonicas and a baby!”
Mon Dec 4th TBC! Mary Jane “This band plays a highly original blend of acoustic psychedelic folk-rock. The music is very individualistic and combines self penned and traditional material with strong Celtic, Eastern and Medieval influences.”
These wonderful delights will take place at The Wheelwrights Arms in Havant, we aim to start at 7.30pm, entry is a mere fiver, which will be split between the headline band and the Leaves for Learning appeal at The Sustainability Centre.
We welcome open spots of music and poetry. If you would like a spot please arrive by 7.15pm.
