When we set out with Foundations we decided that we had to make room for the occasional big headliner should the opportunity present itself. So, it gives us great pleasure to welcome Skream back to Patterns for another Open to Close session.

From early days pioneering the Dubstep scene circa 2003, Skream has more recently taken a change of pace, incorporating disco, house, and techno in both his sets and production work. This new direction has seen Ollie go from strength to strength, asserting himself as one of the most in-demand DJs on the circuit, we can’t wait to have him take the reins all night for a very special Foundations this winter.

The tour itself is a conscious effort to resurrect the 'back to basics' element of club culture to the forefront again, forsaking elaborate, extravagant production for the eyes-down, music focused selection of a pure clubbing experience."

In his own words, Skream says: Last year's 'Open To Close' tour was definitely my highlight of last year! Actually, one of the highlights of my career. Every show sold out and honestly some of the best shows I've ever played. I've been super excited to announce that we're doing it again. There's so much music I buy as a listener that I play on the OTC tour that I just can't play during summer festival sets that are 90-120 minutes long, so I am literally collecting music all year round to play on the tour. I can't wait to kick the tour off, and I'm particularly excited to be taking it to Belfast and Derry.
