About
Envisioned by Lucy Grayson, In Motion will take place in Theatre 2, revolving around the concept of emotion, with a stripped back version of the typical cinema experience that audiences are familiar with. Removing actors, narrative and dialogue, In Motion will focus on sound, light, visuals and music to take the audience on a journey through emotion, allowing the spectator to create their own narrative. The piece will include evocative digital imagery and live VJ’ing from Sean Clarke plus live music from Manchester Musician Shunya, and performance and movement choreographed by Meraki Collective.
In Motion will be followed by a performance from Manchester based singer songwriter, Megan Dixon Hood in the downstairs bar at 20:00. A DJ set from Christie, resident at Cache and Prawn, will take us into the night.
