This Saturday we’re hosting our much anticipated first Gin Festival at Venga. Tickets have sold out but if you were lucky enough to get your hands on one here is a bit more info about what you can expect during the day.
The event takes place on Saturday, July 29 from 1pm until 10pm.
Entrance ticket covers – entry all day and unlimited re-entry, a complimentary G&T on arrival and live musical entertainment.
Throughout the day we’ll be having gin masterclasses and various speciality gin stands around the garden so you can wonder around at your leisure and try different gins.
There will also be a Hendricks tea party served and you can enjoy a Gordons & tonic. You can also try your hand at making a classic G&T. We’re going to time attendees and judge the perfect G&T server. The overall winner during the day will received a free bottle of Gordons Gin.
Here are some important timings for the day:
Music
3pm until 5pm – Ghost Trail – a guitar and vocalist performing mellow acoustic music
7pm until 10pm – Bare Bones – the trio play a variety of classic and modern cover tracks.
Food
Our chef will be cooking lamb, pork, chicken and halloumi skewers in the garden throughout the day. Patisserie cakes and cream teas will also be available. At 7pm to 7.30pm we will be serving a chicken and chorizo paella.
